This research studies how Organizational Culture, and more importantly, a visible Agile Culture, is paramount to Agility. Focusing on Global Financial Services companies in the past 5 years, this research provides a comprehensive overview of the most utilized Agile Methodologies, their characteristics, components and variations. It explains Organizational Culture and describes the interrelations that generate an Agile Culture. The research hedges analytical induction and proximity relative as a means to approach the subject. Fieldwork then circumscribes to Financial Services Agile Leaders and Executives from Western Union, PayPal, American Express as well as an Agility Advisor; and identifies agile leadership skillset to enable true agility alongside recommendations for agile teams to excel.
